If you’re an Africa-focused angel investor looking to build a high-quality portfolio, consider joining Waddi Investments. Our investing community is made up of both men and women who invest together on a deal-by-deal basis, with a focus on seed-stage startups. Our goal is to increase female participation in angel investing, and we do this by fostering a diverse and collaborative community with access to an excellent deal flow. Our members pay an annual fee and commit to making a minimum of four investments per year. In addition, we provide resources, curated information, and host events to help our members become great angel investors.

Our group typically writes check sizes of $50,000 to $100,000 per deal, and our members pay an annual membership fee of $1,000. Additionally, our members commit to making at least four investments per year, with each investment totaling no less than $2,500. While our angel program is operated separately from our fund, our co-founding partners are members, and the fund occasionally reviews the same deals.
